This week is a short one, but we’re diving into something exciting: the CH digraph. A digraph is when two letters work together to make one single sound. In this case, the letters c and h join forces to create the /ch/ sound, like in chip, chair, or chicken.
It’s important to remember that digraphs don’t always follow the usual rules of each letter on its own—when they’re paired, they create a brand-new sound.
